Paul Cizmas
Paul Cizmas, Professor of Aerospace Engineering at Texas A&M University, received his Ph.D. from Duke University. Prior to joining the faculty at Texas A&M, he was a Senior Engineer/Scientist at Westinghouse Electric Corporation, Science and Technology Center. He has published numerous technical papers in the areas of aeroelasticity and propulsion. He received the ASME Liquid Propulsion Best Paper Award (1995), the Westinghouse Science and Technology Technical Publication Award (1997), and the ASME Structures and Dynamics Best Paper Award (2011). He also received the Texas Engineering Experiment Station Select Young Faculty Award (2004), the Brockett Professorship Award (2008) and the Herbert H. Richardson Award (2009). He is an Associate Fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics and was appointed to the National Research Council Committee on Air Force/Department of Defense Aerospace Propulsion (2005).
